Yearlong Discipleship, Episode 12: Love Your Enemies Part 1: Go the Extra Mile

In this episode (Part 1 of 2): Dan and Andy Matthew 5:39b-41 ESV: "...if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles." Dan and Andy discuss letting go of our right to defend ourselves and leaving it in Jesus's hands...not out of vengeance, but out of faith and trust in God.  They talk about Romans 12:21 as well:  'Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.'
