We had music from The Pretty Reckless The Boomtown Rats Bristol indie band and current favourite of Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake: Snails Hampshire based softer indie music from Drug Store Romeos London musician with her multilayered, meaningful RnB, Lava La Rue (extra shoutout for the phrase "putting the enby back in RnB" (say it out loud)) Mercury nominees Porridge Radio Glasgow synth punks VLURE Dublin punk trio Sprints Sheffield-based poetic post punk from Dead Slow Hoot London psychedelic rock musician Aziya Do Nothing, who have a new EP out Meet Me @ The Altar, the American pop punk trio bringing a much-needed WOC perspective to pop punk and emo Ship of Fools, melodic punk band from Newmarket, Ontario Here's this week's playlist. (try and support artists directly!) Also, summer is here and this show is officially on the beach, baby! (On the shores of the mind, if you will). What do you think of the new summer artwork? It's still a work-in-progress, mind. Let me know! Listen live on your dial at 101.9 FM in the Kingston area, or on cfrc.ca, Sundays 8 to 9 PM!
