Yellow Cab Jazz

Make it funky! Yellow Cab Jazz is a homage to the vibe of the Golden Era of Hip-Hop, that straight up head nodding Boom Bap sound of the East Coast, inspired by artists like A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Main Source, Artifacts, Pete Rock & CL Smooth. The photos for the artworks were taken by my uncle in 1998 in NY and capture the visual landscape perfectly, so it felt only right to make a soundtrack to the series. Features include Chinch 33, dédé, kalla, RAEDY, and none other than NAMM #BattleRoyal World Champ 🏆 DJ Robert Smith on the cuts for "Word Is Bond".
