YEM returns with an exclusive interview with Rio Mangini, who stars as Austin from the series, Wolf Pack! The show is about two teenagers turned into werewolves upon getting wounded by one in a California wildfire. When a supernatural creature awakens from the wildfire, the two must band together with another duo of teenagers who went through a similar wildfire sixteen years ago. We briefly ask Rio what sort of supernatural characters he drew from as inspiration to create Austin's character. Rio states that he didn't have one, but he was very inspired by how Teen Wolf presented its story. He mentions that not a lot of people know this fact, but Rio was a character in Teen Wolf in Season 6 and he was friends with Dylan Sprayberry and Khylin. He remembered that he went to a premiere in the MTV office with Dylan, and this was before when Season 4 happened, and he was mindblown about the show.
