Yes Mate, Get Me In That Pool!
from Chin Wag Hosted by ChinWag Crew
It's time to make volunteer as tribute everyone, as we rattle off our favourite heroes' deaths this week. We delve into what quantifies the hero's death as well as splitting hairs between what makes a hero and a 'movie' hero. We have a selection of warriors' sacrifices from across three favourite franchises of ours as well as some real gut wrenching ones that remind us all of the true price of heroism and how the death scene can be the moment to cement a character as a hero altogether. We're sure you'll enjoy these scenes as much in our talking about them as we did and we close out with a short piece of poetry and a unanimous recommendation for one of the films on this list... the Warner Brother's Classic that is The Iron Giant! TRIGGER WARNING: Contains discussions related to suicide and mental trauma. Leah, Sam, Solo & Roagan are film graduates, casual podcasters and all over swell folk. Each with a varied and different taste in film and a singular goal. To get rich making podcasts (getting rich is optional).
