Chris Cathcart joined the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) as its president in January  2000–retiring January 2017. During his tenure he initiated Product Care®, the industry's product stewardship program; and Alliance for Consumer Education. From 1981 to 1999, he held leadership roles with other national trade associations in the chemical manufacturing sector. Chris earned his B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and went on to earn a M.A. and complete postgraduate work.
