Yeshua: Daily Tamid Lamb Offering Pt 6 ~ The Stoning and Hanging of Yeshua

In this teaching segment, we will continue to see the various ways that when Yeshua died on the tree, he fulfilled the requirements of the daily tamid lamb offering. One of the places where the lambs destined to be a tamid offering were raised is the same place where it is expected that the Messiah would reveal himself. How is this so? Migdal Eder was the place where daily tamid lambs were raised. Similarly, the Messiah is to be revealed from Midgal Eder: And you, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem. Micah 4:8 The daily lamb is then taken to the slaughter house. The slaughter house for Yeshua was Golgotha (John 19:17, 20). The Jews were looking to stone Yeshua for blasphemy and idolatry: Then after this He said to the disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.” The disciples said to Him, “Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again?” John 11:7-8 According to the Talmud, Yeshua was both stoned and hanged: (Sanhedrin 43a) The place of stoning was outside the camp. Golgotha was outside the camp. In Isaiah 52:14, Yeshua was prophesied to be marred beyond recognition. This could happen from both stoning and crucifixion. A person being stoned was given strong wine to drink. Yeshua was given strong wine to drink. A person being stoned was stripped of their clothes. Yeshua was stripped of his clothes.
