Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow: WISN 12's Gerron Jordan

This month's guest on Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow is none other than WISN 12's morning show host, Gerron Jordan. The Chicago export has been with us in Milwaukee since 2021 but has worked all over the country in his career. Like most people who spend any amount of time in the 414, Gerron has a deep love and appreciation for the city and it shows through his entertaining social media presence, his news reporting and as co-host of the long running Milwaukee political show "UpFront".HYFIN's Anthony Foster talked with Gerron about his love of music: from his mother's love of 90's R&B, his father's connection to old school hip hop and his affinity to tear up the (karaoke) club. We also talked about the value of "pop" music and how one develops an appreciation of "good songs". The Howard alumnus shared great insight on his personal journey from newsrooms in Louisiana to the mornings on WISN.
