Yet he was merciful – Morning Prayer, Tuesday, Proper 20

It’s Tuesday of Ordinary Time, Proper 20 in the Church Calendar. September 26, 2023. Praying today with Debbie in Montana and Lenora in Irvine, California. Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “Good Good Father” by Anthony Brown and Pat Barrett with a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalm 78:1-39 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is 1 Corinthians 5:1-8 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day followed by a time of spontaneous, prompted prayer. If you have a prayer request please submit it here.
