在一间简陋的小房子里，住着一位贫穷的妈妈和她的七个孩子。孩子们乖巧听话，妈妈答应会从集市买回孩子们各自想要的一份礼物。可是，妈妈刚离开不久，邪恶的巫婆佩格来到这里，闪亮亮的金子让孩子们忘记了妈妈的嘱咐，放女巫佩格进了家门。结果当然不出所料，七个孩子中了女巫佩格的魔法，并被带走。当心急如焚的妈妈找到女巫佩格时，被变成食物的孩子们差点成了女巫佩格的晚餐。妈妈怎么才能破解咒语，拯救自己的七个孩子呢？
