Ezr 6:19 "On the fourteenth day of the first month, the returned exiles kept the Passover."正月十四日，被掳归回的人守逾越节。Ezr 6:20 "For the priests and the Levites had purified themselves together; all of them were clean. So they slaughtered the Passover lamb for all the returned exiles, for their fellow priests, and for themselves."原来祭司和利未人，一同自洁，无一人不洁净。利未人为被掳归回的众人，和他们的弟兄众祭司，并为自己宰逾越节的羊羔。Ezr 6:21 "It was eaten by the people of Israel who had returned from exile, and also by every one who had joined them and separated himself from the uncleanness of the peoples of the land to worship the LORD, the God of Israel."从掳到之地归回的以色列人，和一切除掉所染外邦人污秽归附他们、要寻求耶和华以色列​神的人，都吃这羊羔，Ezr 6:22 "And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy, for the LORD had made them joyful and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, so that he aided them in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel."欢欢喜喜地守除酵节七日，因为耶和华使他们欢喜，又使亚述王的心转向他们，坚固他们的手，作以色列 神殿的工程。
