Ezra 10:1 While Ezra prayed and made confession, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, a very great assembly of men, women, and children, gathered to him out of Israel, for the people wept bitterly.以斯拉祷告、认罪、哭泣，俯伏在 神殿前的时候，有以色列中的男女孩童，聚集到以斯拉那里，成了大会，众民无不痛哭。Ezra 10:2 And Shecaniah the son of Jehiel, of the sons of Elam, addressed Ezra: "We have broken faith with our God and have married foreign women from the peoples of the land, but even now there is hope for Israel in spite of this.属以拦的子孙，耶歇的儿子示迦尼，对以斯拉说：“我们在此地娶了外邦女子为妻，干犯了我们的神，然而以色列人还有指望。Ezra 10:3 Therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all these wives and their children, according to the counsel of my lord and of those who tremble at the commandment of our God, and let it be done according to the Law.现在当与我们的 神立约，休这一切的妻，离绝她们所生的，照着我主和那因 神命令战兢之人所议定的，按律法而行。Ezra 10:4 Arise, for it is your task, and we are with you; be strong and do it."你起来！这是你当办的事，我们必帮助你，你当奋勉而行。”
