Est 4:15 "Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai,"以斯帖就吩咐人回报末底改说：Est 4:16 "Go, gather all the Jews to be found in Susa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my young women will also fast as you do. Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law, and if I perish, I perish."“你当去招聚书珊城所有的犹大人，为我禁食三昼三夜，不吃不喝；我和我的宫女，也要这样禁食。然后我违例进去见王，我若死就死吧！”Est 4:17 Mordecai then went away and did everything as Esther had ordered him.于是末底改照以斯帖一切所吩咐的去行。
