Est 5:12 "Then Haman said, "Even Queen Esther let no one but me  come with the king to the feast she prepared. And tomorrow also I am invited by her together with the king."哈曼又说：“王后以斯帖预备筵席，除了我之外不许别人随王赴席。明日王后又请我随王赴席；Est 5:13 "Yet all this is worth nothing to me, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king's gate."只是我见犹大人末底改坐在朝门，虽有这一切荣耀，也与我无益。”Est 5:14 "Then his wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, "Let a gallows fifty cubits high be made, and in the morning tell the king to have Mordecai hanged upon it. Then go joyfully with the king to the feast." This idea pleased Haman, and he had the gallows made." 他的妻细利斯和他一切的朋友对他说：“不如立一个五丈高的木架，明早求王将末底改挂在其上，然后你可以欢欢喜喜地随王赴 席。”哈曼以这话为美，就叫人作了木架。
