Yikes: Pitch, radio & the power of community in music | Area 3000 On Location at Pitch Music & Arts Festival

Area 3000 resident Fabian and Carpe Noctem host sits down with Yikes at Pitch Music & Arts Festival for an insight into performance, process, and community. Returning to Pitch for the third time, Yikes reflects on how understanding a festival’s energy shapes his sets - leaning into the high-intensity dancefloor while continuing to evolve his sound. Beyond the stage, he unpacks the role of radio through RTRFM as a space for experimentation, discovery, and amplifying emerging artists. The conversation also explores his work with Deadly Decks, supporting Boorloo artists through DJ workshops and building stronger pathways into the music industry.
