Brent, the global benchmark, slipped 3.3 per cent to $92.52 a barrel, down from a high of more than $105 on Tuesday.US government bonds came under selling pressure following strong weekly jobless claims data.The yield on the 10-year Treasury note added 13 basis points to 3.27 per cent while the yield on the two-year note, which closely tracks interest rate expectations, added as much as 10bp to 3.55 per cent, hitting a new 15-year high.
