The youngest honouree in Forbes 30 Under 30 2021 class, 19-year-old Harsh Dalal from Singapore, was unceremoniously removed from the list after Tech In Asia revealed inconsistencies in his and his company's credentials. However, what's more shocking is that SPH and CNA had also produced features glorifying his supposed achievements in the past year, inadvertently helping to legitimize his claims. We discuss about the editorial oversight (or lack of) in mainstream media that led to this fiasco.
