In 2010, after grounding herself in film and stage in Georgia, she decided to take the leap to Los Angeles, the land of television and film, to pursue her career full- time. Since landing in Los Angeles, she has starred in her own award-winning written and produced works titled The Last Day and Victus. Her previous works also include the films TIFF, Circle, Vitality, Between The Miles, Vicious, and Love Triangle. She landed a recurring role in the CW hit TV Show Black Lightning where she plays the hard working mother of the character Khalil Payne (a.k.a. Pain Killer).
