York Police Hunt Third Road Rage Suspect
from Montreal News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Police in York are still hunting a third suspect in a violent road rage attack that turned deadly last year in Richmond Hill. The incident, which occurred near Yonge and May Avenue on June 21, left one man critically injured from stab wounds but alive. The brawl began with a road rage confrontation, escalated when the victim was ambushed by two additional suspects, and ended with one suspect arrested on the scene and another taken into custody last Sunday. The two charged — 54-year-old Hamid-Reza Safi-Poor and 59-year-old Ali Kia — face attempted murder, aggravated assault, and uttering threats, with Kia also charged with weapon possession. The third suspect, 30-year-old Seyed-Houman Mirmoghtadaei, who’s reportedly homeless, is still at large and wanted for the same charges. Authorities urge him to surrender and warn the public not to assist him, or risk facing charges themselves. The identity of who started the road rage remains unknown — tip-offs to police or Crime Stoppers are encouraged. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
