Identity in Christ! 8/31/26 Who do we say that we are? Today we look again at the glorious reality of 'God in Us" and "Us in Christ" It is the most TRUE, most SUPERNATURAL species of human that has ever existed! Key ideas: No one in the OT was born again. Not David, Moses, Abraham or Esther. They had a covenant relationship with God, and the Spirit would come upon Priests, Prophets and Kings to do kingdom business. But in the NEW TESTAMENT God is IN every born again believer! The miracle of the Second Birth is so profound that it can't be overstated or overemphasized. God's Own Spirit, Rule, Power and authority is IN US, to rule and reign on the inside of us with JOY, PEACE and the agape love of God. God's kingdom rule IN US establishes us in His kingdom. Not a title, not a gender, not an assignment.There is one Seat of authority and that is "IN CHRIST." Jesus gave servant gifts within the body to help build His body up in HIM. So that the whole body functions as ONE unit filled with His love, joy and peace. Although we all have different natural cultures and different church cultures, our Identity in Christ remains the great constant. We are carriers of His eternal life, HIs love, joy and peace. That is what makes us New Creations. His life expressed through YOU is unique and designed as a magnet to the lost and a light and salt to a dying world system. People are attracted to the God in us. It is never us personally but God IN Us. That means all glory is His and all obedience belongs to Him, not to us or others. Do you want to learn more about your identity in Christ?
