YOU ARE NOT TOO YOUNG (or OLD)

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Devotional Message: Scripture: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV) Age is never a limitation in the hands of God. Whether you’re young and just beginning your journey or older with years behind you, God can use you right now. In 1 Timothy 4:12, Paul encourages Timothy not to be intimidated by his youth but to lead by example—proving that spiritual maturity is not measured by age, but by character and obedience. The world may judge you by numbers, but God sees your heart. He sees your willingness to serve, your hunger for Him, and your faith in action. If you’re young, don’t wait for “someday” to start living for God. If you’re older, don’t believe the lie that your time has passed. God’s calling isn’t bound by a calendar—it’s tied to your surrender. You’re never too young to influence, and never too old to inspire. God delights in using those who trust Him, regardless of their stage in life. Just be faithful with what’s in your hand today, and He will do more through you than you imagine. Today, ask yourself: Am I using my age as an excuse, or am I allowing God to use me right where I am? Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You that my age doesn’t disqualify me from Your purpose. Help me to walk boldly and humbly in the calling You’ve given me. Let my life be an example that points others to You—no matter my age. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
