Finding a balance and understanding how to listen, but not react… helps us return to an empowered state__________________________________ Key Moments: Secure/ Anxious / Avoidant attachment comes from the environment we were raised inLatin verb for Emotion is "Emotus" or "ēmoveō" - to move, stir, move throughEmotions take on average 90 sec to move through bodyTriggers - you cant control how you feel, but you can control how you respondLessons of emotions:Anger: A boundary has been crossed (rather with yourself or another) - encourages us to use our empowerment and energy to move in a new direction, or to let go of what doesn't serve us. Courage is fueled by angerSadness: A sign to go inward, something wants to be grieved/ released. It cleanses, and creates empathy & connection with othersFear: What needs to be seen in order to be overcome. The deeper lesson is discernment. Are we truly in danger, or is this a threshold we haven't crossed yet that will support our growth?Jealousy: Direction you desire, but don't have yet.
