This leads to the hypothesis that a sufficiently advanced civilization could create a simulation indistinguishable from reality. Occam's Razor: Simulation theory can be seen as a form of Occam's Razor, which suggests that the simplest explanation is often the correct one. Instead of assuming an infinitely complex universe as the base reality, simulation theory posits a higher-level reality where our universe is simulated.
