Today we really focus on our SEATED position as victors in Christ and the authority of God's Word. Key ideas;Victory has been fought and won for God's people.We have been SEATED in the heavenly authority of Christ Himself.We maintain our position of VICTORY by not allowing the adversary to tempt us into getting into the 'boxing ring'.Getting into a 'spiritual fight' is already losing.No, the better way, is to stay seated in the position Christ has already placed you, with authority OVER the adversary.The finished work of Jesus, the Word and the authority of His Name is the authority for all male and female believers, with ministry offices or without.When God speaks it is as good as done the moment He says it.If He says 'we ARE (declarative statement) going to the other side. then the boat is getting to the other side, whether a storm comes or not; He has given His disciples authority to speak TO anything that opposes HIS stated plans.When we understand that some of the statements in the Bible ARE GOD'S spoken word that function just like "we ARE going to the other side," that is when we start paying MUCH more attention to what He has SAID. And put our full faith in that, OVER and most of the time IN SPITE of the circumstance.The MOST TRUE prophetic word we can speak is the written Word:I can do all things God calls me to through Christ Phil. 4:13There is nothing God calls me to do that is impossible for me with Him. Luke 1:37Greater is He that is IN ME, then one in this world. 1 John 4:4If God started the plan, God will FINISH the plan. Phil. 1:6It can be very 'fashionable' in some church traditions and cultures for women to always defer to men, or to insists that a male 'cover them' for ministry. But this really is not aligned with the power of Jesus' blood and His seated authority, which belongs to all believers who are in Christ.Healing is not always an acceptable part of people's doctrine, either is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, so we should not be surprised that equality might not be either.
