You ARE Shelter(ed)

from Your Daily Devotional: GoOD Mornings with CurlyNikki

Every time thoughts come as to how it's going to happen, when it's going to happen, close that body's eyes... fold its hands in front of it, and go back down into that bowing, back into that Humbleness.   Bow back into God, back into your Shelter, like you're ducking under the doorframe back inside where it's quiet, where there is no world, nothing to solve, nothing to fix, nothing to think about.  That's the point.   Not good humanhood, not bad humanhood, Christhood.   Make that your mantra for a week,   and when you're saying it, you're unseeing good people, you're unseeing bad people,  you're unseeing you, the 'people' you think you are, you're unseeing all the people, all the world. Only Christhood is here, which means only this Loving Awareness is here, and you feel that Loving Awareness,  you be that Loving Awareness, Only,  Formless,  Silent,   and that heals,   that feeds,   that pays,   that's love,   that's all. If thought arises in the mind, time will also arise. When the thought that produces time vanishes time also ceases to exist. Then there is true peace. Anyone can try this. Keep quiet for a single instant. Don't allow the mind to stir. For a single moment be without any thought of the past. In that moment you will see that there is no thought, no time, no world. This is what I mean by peace. In that instant everything will be peaceful. If you keep quiet you will see that the whole world is quiet. This world does not exist at all If you sit quietly for a single second you will bring peace to the world because in that moment there is no world. Then do it for the next second, and the next. This the way to bring about peace, but you have to do it yourself and see." - HWL Poonja  / Papaji "In the state of silence, a person does not shun out the ability to comprehend sound, instead he is trying to enhance his ability to hear the sounds, assimilate them discern them, analyze them and then synthesis them into a perfect whole of wisdom. Thus the observer of silence is trying to develop an ability whereby a specific sound can be heard. This is the vibrating sound of the Universe, which is called the sound of our inner soul. That sound of eternal vibration is 'OM' in our ancient scriptures." -Bhakti Ma
