You can Choose Happiness

from Transformed Life 2 Min Encouragement · host Daniel C Clark

If I want to be happy, I can't tell you how many times I hear that in a week. And we all want to be happy. But here's the downside. If I want to be happy, and I will only be happy if or when that means that I'm never going to be happy now, Happiness isn't waiting for things to change. Happiness isn't waiting for things to be in the future. Happiness is right now, choosing to be happy about the things that are happening right around you is a key to happiness. Let me give you a great example. It's raining. I am happy that it's raining because we need the rain. It's a beautiful sunny day. I'm happy because I get the chance to really be outside or even enjoy the beautiful sun. It's fall. I'm happy because I'm experiencing the fall season. I'm happy because I got to have lunch today. I'm happy because I've shoes to wear. You get to choose what to be happy about. So start choosing to be happy about the things that are happening right now. And then as things unfold in the future, you'll already have happiness on the inside of you. And you'll feel much more happy about those things as they unfold in the future. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.
