You Can Count On It

Throughout the Gospels, we hear stories of Jesus finding time to be alone with His Father to pray. So much so, that His disciples grew curious about the nature of prayer and the kind of relationship Jesus had with the Father. Teaching from Luke 11:1-13, Darrell unpacks the prayer and the parable that Jesus offers His disciples in response to their question - ‘how do we pray’? Through a Western mindset, this story is often misunderstood, but as Darrell takes us into the cultural context of the parable, we start to see what Jesus is doing in this story. We not only find how to pray, incredible encouragement to pray as Jesus did with full trust in the goodness of the Father.
