In the middle of law school, newly married, and learning her mother was just diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, it was a difficult time to say the least. Through the support of her husband and other family/friends, she went on to travel the world, homeschool 2 wonderful children into the top universities with successful careers, and raise and train a 130 lb. Cane Corso to help her around the house-all from her wheelchair. Crediting a positively stubborn attitude and a cleaner, healthier lifestyle she is not letting the disease define her, she is defining the disease!
