In Mark 11:12–25, Jesus showed us the power of faith-filled words. The fig tree looked fruitful but wasn’t — teaching us not to judge by appearances. When it failed to bear fruit, Jesus spoke to it, and it withered from the roots. Likewise, circumstances in life ‘speak’ to us with fear, doubt, and anxiety — but we must respond with words of faith, not silent thoughts. God’s Word reaches the root of every issue, and when we speak in faith, power is released even before we see results. Mountains don’t move by wishing or worrying; they respond to faith-filled words. Believe, speak, and hold fast — for the end of speaking is having.
