You Can’t Hold Your Family Together— But God Can

Jesus teaches that true spiritual blessing comes from having a pure heart—one that is sincere, undivided, and wholly devoted to God. This purity isn't about perfection but about clean motives, freedom from hypocrisy, and a desire to please God above people. Our hearts determine our conduct, as everything we do flows from the condition of our inner life. Sin, unforgiveness, pride, worldliness, and hypocrisy can contaminate our hearts, but through honest self-examination, guarding our influences, daily repentance, disciplined thoughts, and godly community, we can develop heart purity. The promise for those with pure hearts is profound: they will see God, experiencing His presence both now and eternally.
