You Can't Lead Yourself to Where God Is Taking You

Psalm 119:105 says "thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." But what does that actually mean? John 1 says the Word was God, and in Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. Jesus IS the word. He IS the lamp. He IS the light. You can carry a lamp with no gas in it — it's useless.
