You Can't Say The Wrong Thing To The Right Person

When I asked Jerry Yerke to be a guest on my podcast, I specifically asked if I could invite his wife Denise to join us as well. This power couple, as I call them, has worked closely together for over 15 years. Considering some couples have a hard time spending extended periods of time together, Denise and Jerry live and work within 6 feet apart most of their time (unless one of them travels). When they both decided to join ASEA, a company I linked my arms with about 2,5 years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Jerry in person, hearing him speak from the stage, and following his teachings online. Until now, I never had the pleasure of meeting his wife. Behind every successful man is the woman who helps him shoot for the stars, I do believe it's the case especially here, and Jerry, as a proper gentleman, gives his wife all the credit.  Jerry was a successful, driven marketing executive with over 30 years of direct sales industry experience but his personal business experience started earlier. As the owner and operator of 7 Domino's Pizza franchises, he learned everything from team building, leadership, and operations management which was a big bonus for his later executive career when he assisted several different companies to launch on global markets. When Denise entered the picture and started working closely with him, her deep understanding of strategy, business, and passion for technology became a huge asset when creating the training tools, marketing, and team building.   Together, they became a power couple that builds on each other's strengths.  All three of us spoke about:- the experience as a franchise owner with multiple locations- what Denise sees as their strengths and weaknesses   - how does that compare to their current line of work today - what compelled the former successful executive to start building his own global organization together with his wife, with a new company, as an associate, from the bottom up (quite unique move) - what he misses (or not) the most about live events - what incredible health improvements cemented their personal faith in the technology that Jerry previously refused to get involved 3 different times - what he appreciates the most about this "final destination" as he calls it - what he says is pretty much close to perfectand much more... this is a beautiful testament to powerful, respectful relationships, business building, personal development, work ethic, values, and also love of words.  Their personal reinvention with this company improved their health, lifestyle, fulfillment, and sense of purpose and impact.
