With inspirations like Aaliyah, Toni Braxton, Sade and Taylor Swift; her sound can be described as soulful r&b with a splash of pop. Born on May 27th 1987, in Mt Pleasant; a small town outside of Dallas Texas. Growing up she developed a passion for music, and started her singing journey in the Baptist church. Lashae began singing in the church choir, she was 1 of the lead singers during her years there. In Jr high school she was an active member of the Show Choir, traveling and competing across the DFW metro-plex. In high school her love for music began to grow. She joined her high school choir and became the lead singer of the praise and worship group at her church. From there her career started to progress, she then began singing at weddings and events around DFW. Lashae then took to the internet and started uploading videos of her singing covers and remixes of songs, which helped her to gain a loyal local fan base. After high school she began transitioning from an event singer to a Independent recording artist.
