Although still Federally illegal for now, lawmakers in DC are working on bills that could make changes to the classification of cannabis as a controlled substance. But until then, states are starting to adopt medical use and recreational use more and more these days. Here in Texas, we have a low-level THC medical cannabis program in place but the THC levels are restricted to 0.03%. There is current legislation in a review that would increase that from 0.03% to 5% as well as other bills to decriminalize possession of under an ounce of cannabis and even legalization for recreational purposes for adults over 21. There are less than 20 states left that still consider possession of cannabis a crime and in Texas, you still have the possibility of jail time. So here in Texas, partaking of the green can get you in orange.  But wait, what about CBD? What about this Delta 9 THC I keep hearing about?
