Dr. Sunday is internationally known as The Platform Builder.She helps faith-based entrepreneurs get their message out into the world through the media.  Our Esteemed Guest for Tommie Mabry  Tommie grew up in one of North Jackson, MS’ roughest neighborhoods. Trouble followed him everywhere before and after fifth grade when he was arrested for breaking into the state fairgrounds. After that arrest, he was suspended or expelled from several schools due to his behavior. In sixth grade, a bullet grazed his side while burglarizing a home not knowing that the owner was there – armed. His role models were local drug dealers that he idolized and sought to emulate. He was in and out of juvenile detention centers, for crimes such as home invasion, auto theft, drug, and other crimes. A judge once prophesized that in five years his attitude would either get him killed or incarcerated. Tommie grinned at the judge who did not know that the “monster” lurking within Tommie was fueled by the prophecy.?He sported permanent gold teeth and tattoos covered his body from the neck down, ( a total of 60 Tattoos) since the age of 12. But now after finishing high school which no one in his family every did ( AAU basketball), ?Tommie received a BA cum laude in education from Tougaloo in 2011 were he was elected Mister Tougaloo College.He also became an author writing his first book, “A Dark Journey to a Light Future,” that chronicles his story for persons of all ages. He shares how he came from behind to where he is today because of a second chance. He lives by the motto, “I cannot walk in my future with my foot in my past.” Second book, “If Tommie Can Do It, We can Do It,” that targets younger youth
