You Don't See The Stars

from John Dyhouse · host John Dyhouse

Some people can never see their place in the world without feeling inferior, It can take love to make them see reality. Sometimes the best songs come from out of nowhere. I was walking, exercising in our local park when I started singing to myself and I had most of the lyric sorted before I got home again. When I did I rushed to get as much of it down on paper as possible, I never seem to have a notebook with me these days when I need one. Any way, that evening I had a lyric complete enough to present to Suno. I was over the moon with the resulting output. - Once I had managed to edit out the electric drill for the first 4 seconds. I especially liked the Latin vibes. I do hope you like it. LYRICS - John Dyhouse:- [Chorus] You don't see the stars (ooh ooh ohhh) When you look up to the skies (aahh ahhh) You don't see the smiles (ooh ooh oh ohhhh) All around in people's eyes [Verse 1] I know you've had some bad times Letters on the table you don't read Phone lit up with names you don't like You just turn it over Let it ring [Pre-Chorus] You say "maybe I'm just made wrong" You say "maybe this is all I get" But every tear that hits your pillow Looks like a diamond when it’s lit [Chorus] You don't see the stars (ooh ooh ohhh) When you look up to the skies (aahh ahhh) You don't see the smiles (ooh ooh oh ohhhh) All around in people's eyes You don't see the love (ooh ooh ohhh) Standing right there by your side (aahh ahhh) You don't see how bright you are (ooh ooh oh ohhhh) But you're the one who lights their lives [Verse 2] I know you feel like background Sitting in the corner of the frame Scrolling through a thousand bright lives Asking why you never look the same [Pre-Chorus] You say "maybe I'm too quiet" You say "maybe I should just forget" But every time you laugh in spite of it The whole room holds its breath [drop] [Instrumental solo] [Chorus] You don't see the stars (ooh ooh ohhh) When you look up to the skies (aahh ahhh) You don't see the smiles (ooh ooh oh ohhhh) All around in people's eyes You don't see the love (ooh ooh ohhh) Standing right there by your side (aahh ahhh) You don't see how bright you are (ooh ooh oh ohhhh) But you're the one who lights their lives [Bridge] One day you'll catch yourself In a stranger’s little kid’s delight (hey) They'll wave at you for nothing And you'll feel something spark inside [Chorus] You don't see the stars (ooh ooh ohhh) When you look up to the skies (aahh ahhh) You don't see the smiles (ooh ooh oh ohhhh) All around in people's eyes You don't see the love (ooh ooh ohhh) But it's there It’s there It’s mine (aahh ahhh) You don't see how bright you are (ooh ooh oh ohhhh) One day you'll see it in your eyes [end]
