You Don't Understand "Forgiveness"

I felt compelled to record this episode in the wake of the shocking assassination of Charlie Kirk. His widow, Erika Kirk, gave a speech at her late husband's memorial service which sparked some controversy due to the fact that she offered her husband's murderer "forgiveness." Or did she? What does it actually mean to forgive someone? In this episode, I dig into biblical passages throughout the old and new testaments and exegete the texts in order to bring to light the true meaning of forgiveness. This is a topic I have been contemplating for about a decade now, and it hits close to home. I hope it will illuminate your understanding of this grossly misunderstood term.
