You get to keep choosing for yourself.You can't grow forward while living one foot in the past, or while holding tightly to a past season of your life or to who you used to be.You have blind spots and defense mechanisms that make it hard for you to see through the story you're living. An outside observer, someone to witness, gently challenge, and reflect truth back to you.Just because a thought/judgment/expectation is offered to you, or someone hands you something, doesn't mean you to have receive it, believe it, or reinforce it.
