You Give Them Something to Eat

At an unprecedented time in our body, when the Lord is telling us to build up the body in amazing ways, we are being ample encouragement as to how we carry this out. We were blessed by Pastor Nick Slaughter and his wife Lyndie of the Arising Church, some of the first disciples of this church, as they share with us the realities of what it means to minister. Our ministry is both to God AND to man, we are to love both God and man. They reminded us of the age-old truth that our life is not our own, neither is our time or resources when it comes to shepherding the flock. Like Jesus we serve even when we ourselves are in need, and so doing we experience the supernatural power of God in the laying down of our lives.
