You Have Gone Off the Deep End

from Soap Anonymous · host Ashley Hapoff, Mikaila Fulfs

This episode is an absolute rollercoaster in the best (and weirdest) way. Ash and Mikaila are back with a stacked lineup of stories that will have you questioning reality, humanity, and maybe mall security protocols. We cover a full-on glitch in the matrix that happened in a mall. One of those stories that feels small at first and then spirals into wait… that's not possible. From there, we dive into Mandela Effect theories, memory rabbit holes, and the unsettling idea that reality might not be as stable as we'd like to believe. Things take a turn toward iconic chaos with a 1950's badass Granny on a mission. Fueled by pure determination and a personal vendetta, she proves revenge can be sweet and that underestimating women is always a mistake. As if that wasn't enough, we also unpack a nude fountain fiasco that's equal parts talk-of-the-country-club and "damn I'm proud of her". It's messy, absurd, and exactly the kind of story that makes you grateful you weren't there… but very glad you get to hear about it. This episode also includes a deeply sad and unsettling story involving a woman who believes she was drugged by her husband on the night he died. We discuss the circumstances surrounding that night, her lingering questions, and the emotional weight of trying to piece together events when memory, trust, and grief collide. As always, Ash and Mikaila bring their signature mix of humor, curiosity, and "are you kidding me?" energy while breaking down each story and reacting in real time. ⚠️ Trigger Warning: This episode includes discussion of suicide and drug-induced incapacitation. Listener discretion is advised. Strap in, keep an open mind, and maybe double-check that reality is still functioning properly, because this episode takes you on a ride!
