You Meet in a Tavern: PoWD Ep #7

"You Meet in a Tavern" regulars Tug, Derf, and Karl have found themselves in Waterdeep, hired by the Harpers to track down and steal an item known as "The Widowmaker" from the city's premier bandit casino ship, "Kraken's Folly". There are many parts to play if the job is going to be done right, so they'll need the help of elite Harper agents (and special guests) Crescent (Volanda) and Jingle Jangle (Ivan Van Norman). It's time for a heist! Here's a brief recap of what's happened so far: Waterdeep is a city in turmoil with factions such as the Zhentarim, the Xanathar crime organization, and the Harpers are all searching for a huge hoard of gold dragon coins hidden in a vault somewhere in the city. Thanks to a deal made with Eclipse (and by proxy with the shady but powerful figure known as the Dealer) in the Kraken's Folly, the different factions of Waterdeep all know about the three keys needed to open the Vault. A set of magical bagpipes and the celebrity Madame Benedicta, aka the Star of Waterdeep, are currently in the possession of Laeral Silverhand, Open Lord of Waterdeep. One other key remains at large: the Widowmaker. Usidore the Blue's box of rocks were recently found in the hands of Eclipse in the Kraken's Folly, but that's neither here nor there.
