What comes to mind when you think about “those people”? Maybe it’s a neighbor, co-worker or family member or maybe it’s a whole group of people that just get under your skin? And what if those people are supposed to be our people - the ones we should experience the deepest level of connection with but they are the ones who have hurt us the most. We have been in this series called Those People the past few weeks. And the problem is those people in our lives can get a measure of control over us and our well being - emotionally, relationally, spiritually. So… what do we do with “those people” - those ones that hurt us or wronged us? Do we really have to forgive? What would it look like to step into an uncomfortable or even painful place and actually begin the journey towards forgiveness?
