Circumstances, delays, disappointments, and the pressures of life can make us question whether God’s promises are really true. But this week’s prophetic prayer calls us back to the foundation of faith: believe God! We explore the meaning of the biblical word for “believe,” emphasizing the idea of thinking God’s Word to be true, being persuaded by His promises, and placing our confidence in Him. The enemy may attack our minds with doubt, but we are called to intentionally renew our minds and remain persuaded that God is faithful. As we pray this week, we declare that we will believe God irrespective of our circumstances. We will trust His Word, stand upon His promises, and remain convinced that He is not a man that He should lie. We believe that the prayers we have prayed will become manifested realities according to His Word and purpose. This week, believe God. Believe His Word. Believe His promises. Remain persuaded.
