You Really Want Change?

You are in!  For those coming back, you are either on the Hope train or striving to find it.  As frustrating as this world can be, there is Truth and Hope for those willing to read and listen.  Man, shootings and riots and Covid and __________.  You want change?  It starts in the heart.  So what's feeding your heart?  Is your heart bitter or are you looking for what's better?  This week, we are going back to the Ricky Jenkins Well, Pastor of Southwest Church in Indian Wells, CA.  If you dig, stick around and we'll share where you can hear his entire message.  Here you go...Word!  Thank you Pastor Ricky Jenkins and HotRod for leading this sesh.  As we pursue Truth, I like to think of us as a rag-tag-bunch of flawed Dudes finding highlights like ESPN's game or play of the week.  So those that dug what Pastor Ricky was dishing.  You can hear his entire message at Southwestchurch.com, "Legacy: The Bibilica Vision of Discipleship, Week 6, published on 8/23/20.Side note, for the avid listener you'll note both Pastor Ricky and Jogging Jesus quoting some similar statistics.  Both recorded days apart with no knowledge of the other.  Thank you God when you affirm through others.As per HotRod's lead, yes, please check out James for yourselves.  Read and soak it up.  He read from James 3:13 - 4:17.  If you really dig, Hosannlc.org has given a great series on James.  One of my favorite books.Ending on a song note, we going back with an encore to the Social Club Misfits,  song is called "Enough".  One of my favorite lines, "You can't hear God's voice when the book is closed."  It's hard to understand God's voice until you tune in.  The Bible will pop to life if you ask for it and tune in enough.  You will get Hope.  You will get a better peace of mind.  For any doubters, just know that I don't hear a loud audible voice of God.  It is an inner voice that is always right.  At times, the inner voice can be quite clear.  It will tell you that you are loved and to love and serve others.  When you open the Bible, you will get even more clarity if you ask for it.  Pray for wisdom and understanding and to be peace of mind.  It's not normally an instant solution.  It is a life long quest.  Now go, read the Bible, pray, love God and love others...
