When things get out of balance, problems arise. When my life is not centered on Christ, it can pop. When my life is bent out of shape, nothing seems to be able to fix it. How did Christ allow God to have first place in His life? He emptied himself. He relied on the Father. In everything, The Father had preeminence. In everything, He must have first place. Or, in everything, He must be the center.Is Jesus at the center of:- WORK- SCHOOL- HOME/RELATIONSHIPS- POLITICS- FINANCES/CALENDARThe more I say "Yes" to Jesus, the more my life becomes centered on Him and smoother.In what aspect of your life is Christ not the center? Wherever Christ is not the center, life will not have balance. The lack of balance will begin to warp our lives, which will cause pain in other areas.Having Christ at the center of life will not guarantee that the road we travel will be smooth, but having Christ at the center does mean that our life can be "grounded" and "balanced" and "smooth" as we travel the rough roads of life.Romans 11:33-36 (NLT)Romans 12:2 (NLT)
