So... You Started a Podcast. Now What?!? with Podcast Strategist Amanda Pearch of AmandaPearch.com. One of the biggest misconceptions I encounter is the belief that once an episode is published to Apple Podcasts or Spotify, listeners will naturally find the show. NEWS FLASH- it doesn’t work that way. Launching a #podcast is a lot like launching a website. Simply because it exists doesn’t mean people will discover it... audiences are built through intentional strategy, valuable content, consistent messaging and #smart marketing- NOT because a platform automatically delivers traffic.
