Today, I want to talk about a moment that almost every nonprofit leader experiences. It usually happens after the paperwork has been filed after the nonprofit has been approved. Everything seems to be moving forward. And then one day, it hits you: "I have no idea how to sustain this." I have seen this moment countless times over the last 40 years in the nonprofit space. It's the moment when leaders realize that running programs and sustaining an organization are two very different things.
