You told God that you needed a sign

from Your Daily Devotional: GoOD Mornings with CurlyNikki

And He gave you this episode.  Love's giving you this message- "You're asking for the wrong thing... asking for a sign of something to come, or of something to start,  but it's here.  Just as I Am. See this. Affirm: "I need Peace, I don't need control. I need God, I don't need a sign. I have God, so I have everything." And now relax into that Everything.  Drop your shoulders down and back into that Everything.  Drop your mind down into your heart.  How does that sound? Put your hands up, palms up.  What do you see? Are you looking at hands or are you looking at Love? Love is your body.  Love is The Sign... watch things get GoOD.  I Love you,  nik  Support the show: ▶▶https://www.patreon.com/goodmornings _______________________ "Rule the thoughts in yourself, that you may become ruler of all things."- St. Basil the Great "Do you have the patience to wait until your mud settles, and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving until the right action arises by itself?"-Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching "You don't always have to pray until the walls fall down. You don't always have to beg until you have no words left. You don't always have to be in battle mode. What if surrender is the key? What if rest is what God is asking? What if your ability to let it go is the very act that God uses to bring the promise? Sometimes the promise comes right when we're letting go. Maybe your surrender is the final test!" - @Godlywaiting "Sri Ramana: What is meditation? It consists of the expulsion of thoughts. All the present troubles are due to thoughts and are themselves thoughts. Give up thoughts. That is happiness and also meditation. D: How are thoughts given up? M.: The thoughts are for the thinker. Remain as the Self of the thinker and there is an end of thoughts. (Talk 452) D.: How is meditation to be practiced? Sri Ramana: Meditation is, truly speaking, Atmanishtha (to be fixed as the Self). But when thoughts cross the mind and an effort is made to eliminate them the effort is usually termed meditation. Atmanishtha is your real nature. Remain as you are. That is the aim. D.: But thoughts come up. Is our effort meant to eliminate thoughts only? Sri Ramana: Yes. Meditation being on a single thought, the other thoughts are kept away."- (Talk 294), Talks with Sri Ramana Maharshi
