It's almost the end of March and that means it's time for a brand-new episode of HELLO MOVIES, MY OLD FRIEND! Ray and Rob have decided to revisit the 1988 Australian comedy YOUNG EINSTEIN! This passion project written/directed/starring Australian mad man Yahoo Serious is an absurdist fictional take on the life of renowned genius Albert Einstein. Throwing historical accuracy to the wind, Yahoo Serious takes young Albert from a humble apple farmer in the Australian outback to the halls of Paris in his quest to make his mark as a famous scientist. When his formula for splitting a beer atom puts him on the radar of fellow scientific rebel Marie Curie (Played by Odile Le Clezio), their budding romance puts Albert in the crosshairs of Preston Preston, a fellow intent on winning Marie's affections by stealing Albert brilliance. While the events are highly fabricated, the message of remaining true to who you are remains the central focus of Albert's story. Will Yahoo Serious's quirky and irreverent style still ring true with the nostalgia that Ray and Rob have for this movie?
