Young Maiden to Wise Mother

Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Mia Mia is a young mama of one from Idaho, USA. She fell pregnant the first month of meeting the father of her baby and now partner.  She felt a great peace come over her when she fell pregnant and let her intuition guide her her whole way through her pregnancy and birth. She came down with a rare condition during pregnancy called hydro nephrosis, which essentially means her urethra got blocked by her pregnant womb which prevented her from releasing urine. She had to wear a tube to help her empty her bladder, until she, upon a strong intuitive feeling, asked to take it out. And all was fine. She went from wanting a home birth to accepting a hospital birth due to this condition happening in pregnancy. And she ended up having an empowering and natural birth with a lovely group of midwives.  Curious about Mia?
